Competition Terms and Conditions
Easter Cheese competition – 02/04/2018
This competition closes at 8pm on 03/04/2018.
This competition is running on Instagram.
The winner will be selected from all entries received before the closing date that have commented on the Instagram post with their friend’s name, have liked the @curds_croust page and have liked the competition post photo.
The winner will be notified on Instagram by 04/04/2018 and will have 5 days to claim their prize, at which time an alternative winner will be drawn.
The prize will be a one box of each of the Curds and Croust cheeses for the winner and their selected friend, which includes 1 x Miss Wenna, 1 x Boy Laity, 1 x Truffler, 1 x Russet Squire, which also includes delivery to a UK mainland address only. This prize is non transferrable and there is no cash alternative.
Failure to deliver and loss of the products is not the responsibility of Curds and Croust or it’s sister company A E Rodda & Son Ltd.
If we are unable to provide the stated prize, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
By entering the promotion entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms & conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
The promotion is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and the immediate families of Curds and Croust, A E Rodda and Son and all partner brands, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
Ordering with Curds and Croust
If you order with us before Midday (12:00), Monday to Thursday, we are able to arrange for your parcel to be shipped the same working day, to arrive the following day. Any orders placed after 12:00pm on Thursday, will be mailed the following Monday for Tuesday delivery. Please note our mail-order department is not available at the weekends or bank holidays. Please see our contact page for further information on stockists in your area.
The placing of an order constitutes an agreement by you the customer to purchase in accordance with our terms and conditions.
If customers are unhappy with their order, contact must be made within 7 days and must arrange for the return of goods where possible for a replacement or refund.
Online orders will be charged at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to amend prices where necessary and without notice. A replacement (or refund at our discretion) for undelivered items will only be accepted after a period of 10 working days has elapsed from the date of dispatch.
Each of cheeses is hand crafted and made individually. Therefore, we endeavour to make our descriptions and photos as accurate as possible.
We accept the following methods of payment, online Credit Card/ Debit Card. If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment to us, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery. All prices include VAT where appropriate.
We understand the need to make your order and payment details secure, however we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if an external party accesses the data you provide when using our website. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website. At times we may use statistical information gained from your visit to help us improve our service and products however, this will of course always remain confidential. We may also use this information to contact you regarding your order and future offers but we will not pass your details on to a third party.
Curds and Croust and Roddas shall not be liable for any loss of profits, inconvenience, consequential or indirect loss or damage or have any liability to pay compensation other than any refund outlined elsewhere in these conditions.
These terms and conditions do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
